2 Ultralight Backpacking Alcohol Stoves with combination windscreen and potholder
- 2 ultralight stoves, one for boiling water and one for a slow simmer to cook meals on.
- Unique windscreen design incorporates aluminum pot supports, and provides both pot support and shielding from the wind.
- Windscreen comes apart into two sections for easy storage in almost any sized mug or pot.
- Windscreen accepts any pot 6" in diameter inside pot support, or 7" or larger on top of the windscreen. Potholder maximizes efficiency by placing pot one inch above burner unit.
- No need to carry a fuel wasting simmer cap or muffin tins, just carry a .35 oz (48 g) separate stove! Instead of having to refuel in the middle cooking, simply fuel the “simmer stove” right before your water has boiled and immediately move the entire pot support and pot to that stove.
- Also included is an HDPE plastic fuel bottle, which will not melt or break down due to alcohol stored inside. 8 oz or 16 oz bottles are offered free of charge with a purchase of a stove set, and have held a seal for several months in the past. Additional bottles are available here
- Also included with the stoves is a 3-page instruction booklet, which explains different fuels, tips for increased efficiency, safety, and general guidelines.

1/2 an once of alcohol boiled 2 cups of water at 8,000 feet of elevation with the high temperature burner. I am climbing the collegent peaks (14,000 ft) this summer and will let you know how they work at that elevation.
