"Praise for the
MacCat!! I tightened it up Saturday night just before I bailed, and Sunday
morning (after the 100+ mph winds) it was flapping in the gusts...one of the
two ridgeline cords broke, and 3 of 4 corner cords were broken. It was
hanging by one ridgeline tie-out, one tarp tensioning line on a corner,
and a mini-carabineer attaching the other ridgeline to the hammock support.
It bent that carabineer. After gusting like that all night, I found
absolutely no signs of wear on the tarp. One of the plastic
D-ring
connectors had a dent from the cord holding so tight...this is a tough piece
of gear!"

Got the Standard
in the mail the other day.. Great piece of gear. I took it out yesterday.
Very easy to set up.. The tent nails are sweet.. right on! -Nathan
I wanted to get back to you about the tarp. I finally got
out in the woods last weekend. The tarp was great. The workmanship
excellent. There aren't many pieces of gear you can take out without setting
them up ahead of time, but you could do it with this tarp. -Joe U. (MacCat Deluxe)
Great job on the tarp! With my home made tensioners,
this tarp stays taut! Maybe I'll see you on the trail someday?...In the
meantime. Thanks again for your good work. -Tim W.
Got the MacCat Deluxe
today. I am very impressed with the
construction. I
intend to try it out for a Long Trail (VT) hike in October. Thanks!

Thank you for the tarp. Worked excellent, used it as a
rain fly/porch for tent on hiking trip in the WMNF, Baxter and Acadia.

I have received the
tarp. It looks very well made and sets up tight. Thank you so much, now
maybe I won't get soaked in my hammock! Thanks, Wesley (MacCat Deluxe)
